Giorgio’s Gourmet pizza celebrating our 20th year in operation would like to thank our valued customers for your support as well as greet our new friends with open arms and appreciation.
Here’s our story, my wife Debbie and I (Giorgio) moved to Reno from San Francisco in 1990. In the same year we opened and established GIORGIOS GOURMET PIZZA inside an amusement park by name of MAGIC CARPET GOLF. We brought our North Beach San Francisco recipe with us from our two pizzerias we had owned and operated in the Bay area. This recipe is one of the oldest dough recipes in the U.S. I originally developed it from working in various pizzerias in San Francisco back in the early 1970’s. This recipe was brought from the east coast in the 1930’s to San Francisco by a group of various Italian families that established Italian restaurants in San Francisco, for quality uncompromising anywhere else. You will not find a better pizza in Reno. Give us a try you will not be disappointed!
